To supply a high caliber of 25 ‘Customer Service focused SIA Security Staff’ and 1 x Security Team Leader, 75 Guest Service Hosts, 5 x supervisor and 1x Manager to facilitate the Club Level Area at Villa Park for all Premiership, Champions league, Europa Cup and Women’s home fixtures.
Having worked with Aston Villa since 2018 it was Summer 2024 when Aston Villa requested a team of 25 SIA Security Staff. They had experienced firsthand the SIA Team at Wimbledon and felt this service was something they needed at Villa Park. Over a period of 6 weeks Aesthetics recruited and interviewed over 60 shortlisted candidates. The main criteria our office team looked for was the qualifications held, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, have experience in working in high profile environments, be personable and be able to go that extra mile. We made it clear from the outset this was not your normal SIA role and essentially, they would be customer service representatives with the added bonus of being qualified to step in to diffuse situations if and when required. Aesthetics delivered their first team of 25 specialists to the first home game of the season in August 2024.
Aesthetics management were on-site for the first 4 games to brief and oversee the team therefore ensuring the delivery was to the high standards expected by Aesthetics and its client. 50% of the team provided also hold close protection qualifications and whilst this was not in the brief, we felt the added qualification would benefit the club and bring added security to high profile areas.
Aesthetics prepared concise briefing notes for the team which allows all staff to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding as to how each restaurant/area operates. The team is imbedded into the hosting team and both teams work in unison to cover breaks as and when required.
Each member of the team wears their own black suit and white shirt, a blue tie to complement Aston Villa colours is provided by Aesthetics. There is a matching scarf option available for ladies.
We have received many positive comments about the team from Aston Villa senior management, guests, catering and other stakeholders particularly focusing on the remarkable difference our team have made and how they add an extra level to the existing security team. We are pleased to say we have very quickly secured a consistent team who are able to attend at least 80% of the season’s fixtures.
